BRITPAC Academy 'Introduction to Leadership' course (Westminster)

This is a one day introduction to leadership in Westminster, Central London. It includes an element of political context, but focuses on core leadership traits and types in different situations. 

No matter your background, you will find this event an eye-opener. Why? Because most sources and discussions around the subject of leadership are not really about leadership, but about management. During this event, we'll explain the difference between the two and how crucial it is that you understand that difference. 

We'll discuss different leaders and their styles, compare leadership in different contexts and environments to see if the approach to leadership has to adapt according to circumstances, and we'll look at how potential leaders can develop their skills.

Importantly, we'll also look at why organisations should be very wary of promoting 'false' or 'positional' leaders, the pitfalls of doing so, and why it none the less so often happens.

A certificate of attendance will be issued to all participants.

Following the event, there will be an opportunity to socialise at a nearby hostlery.
